Arena Shooter Project

Here is the downloadable executable for my Arena Shooter project that I worked on for my Masters in Game Design. My idea for the level was heavily influenced by an old Xbox arena shooter I played called Phantom Crash, and I wanted to see how well a game like that would work if modern game design principles and techniques are used.

The project took me 2 and a half months to complete, including changes added later on in the projects development.

The arena is set in a ruined city high street and provides a wide range of engagement ranges for the player to fight in. There are also numerous objects and buildings the player can jump on to quickly escape combat or to collect a powerup.
